Pivis Vintage Shop - Recycling since 2010

The story of Pivis began in August 2010, when Päivi Mathlin founded an online store specializing in recycling. The product selection included furniture, dishes, interior textiles and vintage clothes. The company's core idea was to preserve old, high-quality, domestic products for future generations.

A few years later, a store was established in Liminka, where it operated for 3 years. The store was located in the Old Liminka museum area and in the summer there was also a summer cafe connected to it. After that, we moved to Rautatienkatu in Oulu and focused entirely on men's and women's vintage and secondhand clothes. The brick-and-mortar store in Oulu was closed in June 2022 and at the same time the entrepreneurs also changed. Roosa and Laura Nevala continued to operate as online retailers until July 2024, when Päivi Mathlin returned to Pivis as an entrepreneur. The operation continues as an online store with a pick-up warehouse in Tuira, Oulun.

Our operating idea is still the same as when we started; to be part of the circular economy promoting the life cycle of sustainable and high-quality products.
